The C700 is Milgard’s fiberglass window, and it is what replaced the Ultra Series you may remember. Fiberglass is the strongest frame material on the market: it barely moves with temperature, it takes a slim frame on a big opening, and it holds paint.
Why homeowners pick the C700 Fiberglass
Strength you can size up
Fiberglass handles both weather and daily use better than most frame materials, which means larger units and slimmer frames without flex.
Top-tier energy performance
Fiberglass expands and contracts at nearly the same rate as the glass it holds, so the seal stays tight through our wet-cold-then-hot swings. That is the whole reason fiberglass windows perform the way they do.
Matching patio doors
The C700 line runs from picture windows through both swinging and sliding patio doors, so a whole elevation can match without mixing series.
