Windows for Northwest homes. Truax sells windows from Milgard and Marvin and builds custom storm windows in our own Portland shop. Our showroom floor has sample windows from each brand, so you can work the hardware and see the sightlines before you commit to a whole house of them.
Window brands we carry
Milgard
Vinyl, fiberglass and thermally improved aluminum. Six current series, and the line we quote most often. We stock samples and handle the warranty paperwork.
Marvin
Wood and clad-wood windows for historic restorations and high-end remodels, plus Marvin’s fiberglass lines.
Truax custom storm windows
We have built custom aluminum storm windows in this shop for over 40 years — the right answer when the original wood windows are worth keeping.
Screens, glass and odd sizes
We repair and rebuild window screens, and we can order a window in nearly any size or shape a manufacturer will build. Windows come in wood, vinyl, fiberglass, aluminum and clad combinations — if you are not sure which material belongs in your house, ask. We will tell you what we would put in our own.
