Truax Builders Supply offers the vast majority of the interior doors used in residential and commercial construction. Interior doors are available in many designs, materials, wood species, and types of construction.
New Construction Doors:
Interior doors are usually ordered pre-hung in jambs, with lock prep, and with hinges installed. Jambs are available for almost any wall thickness, and come in solid hemlock, solid fir, solid of veneered hardwood, and primed.
Replacement and Remodel Doors:
Doors can be ordered pre-hung in jambs, as slabs (no machining), or we can bore for the locks and route for hinges in our shop to match existing doors. We like to have the old doors brought to our shop if we are matching the machining, but will work from accurate dimensions.

The doors shown at the left are a traditional four raised panel fir interior door and a matching bifold door set. Similar doors are available in 2, 3, 5, 6, and 8 panel layouts in either raised panel or flat panel construction.This a classic design in a traditional NW wood species. Other species of wood including oak, mahogany, cherry, and alder are also available. Many door styles are also offered primed at a considerable cost saving, using less expensive wood, and often with composite panels.
Modern wood doors are almost always manufactured with veneered styles, rails, and sometimes veneered panels. This reduces the use of rare solid woods, and makes the door more resistant to warping.
The molded detail around the panel, called the sticking, comes in square and ovolo. Some doors come standard with square sticking, some with ovalo, and a few with a choice of either one. Several other sticking details are available on custom orders, but come with an upcharge.
These beautiful fir doors are a pair of 9-lite interior doors from Simpson Door, and are shown with optional beveled glass. Interior sash doors are available in one-lite as well as almost any divided lite layout. Doors considered stock include the one-lite which is available with clear glass and several obscure glass patterns such as Narrow Reed, Satin Etched, and Rain. Other stock doors include 10-lite and 15-lite traditional designs.

Molded doors are available primed in either solid core or hollow core. They come in many panel designs which are pressed into fiberboard skins.
Flush doors come in many veneered wood species including Birch, Mahogany, and Oak, plus many custom ordered skins like Cherry and Walnut.

Door pricing runs from about $75.00 for a pre-hung hollow core primed door to hundreds of dollars for solid wood stain grade doors in solid wood frames.
Hardware, including hinges and latches, is available in many finishes including oil rubbed bronze, brushed nickel, bright nickel, brass, antique bronze, antique brass, and stainless steel.
Door frames can be ordered to match the doors selected, and for any wall thickness. Trim for the doors is available in many wood species or primed, and in a large variety of designs.
