Truax Builders Supply manufactures beautiful wood Screen doors and wood storm doors! We also offer door and window installation.
Truax has been using traditional woodworking methods, and premium materials to produce classic wood screen doors since 1946.
Our wood screen doors are made on-site here at Truax using vertical grain, stain grade Douglas-fir. We use the highest quality clear fir that is a true one inch thick.
The screen cloth we use in our doors is a traditional wire mesh in a charcoal, mill, and bronze (copper-like) finishes. We can also use Pet Screen, a durable pet resistant material for the pet lovers out there.
We also offer the option of making your wood screen door into a dual-purpose screen and storm door with our interchangeable storm and screen inserts.
You will see some of our most popular designs shown here on our web site. Because we make each one custom by hand, you can also draw your own, or send us a photo or sketch of the one you like and we can make that for you too.
We can also provide hardware that is specifically designed for wood screen doors. The finishes include brass, satin nickel, oil rubbed bronze, antique brass, and black.
